p100 lsd

hello help needed badly i want to put an lsd in my p100 i have heard you can get a 2.8 capri axel and put a lsd in to it and bolt on to the p100 but i dont know what year capri i need the axel out of or where i would get the lsd for it????

2.8I Special capris approx 1985 on have LSD as standard, the dif will fit in your axle IIRC as it is an Atlas like the capri one, however the capri one has only 4 stud hubs, i believe the P100 has 5 stud.Also the brackets for the springs and shocks will be different. Changing the diff isn't too hard but you must get the pinion preload correct or you'll wreck it!!

what doses IIRC mean and do think it would be possible to get a lsd for the p100 axel thanks for the help
