911 GT3 RS?..If funds allow. Seems to be the only choice.

would love a 997 rs in viper green. not sure how well it would go down with the wife a 8 month old son ! Also want to wait to see what they can do with pdk, nice to dream though, gtr on order, just not sure £50K on a nissan is a good idea?

cheers

Mk 2 996 GT3 with PCCB, Carbon Pack, Sport seats? That's what I'd get if I sold the CSL today.

If you need more than 2 seats then I can't think of anything else but a CSL - my kids love it ...

Probably not what you wanted to hear smile

I decided the only car that would be a step up from the CSL for me, was a 996 GT3 RS. Have bought a mint one and now my beloved CSL is up for sale. Driving one after the other just reinforces to me how good the CSL really is. Try as I might, even I can't convince myself that the RS is worth 2 CSLs in value, and that's even with having purchased an RS. If I had the garage space, I'd be sorely tempted to keep the CSL but it has to go unfortunately. I will miss it when it's sold.

Honestly, in the price bracket, there is no better car on the market than the CSL IMO. There is nothing as well built and accomplished that even comes close.

Me too, i had mine for a year, never had any problems kept the bm warranty just in case.
When i bought it people were moaning about cars that had been tracked and thrashed, mine was and knowing people with other CSL`S low milers mine has been the least hassle.

What to buy well i agree the CSL is an incredible car and dropping mine off when i picked up my GT3 MK2 was hard as i loved the paddle shift and the fact that it was easy to drive, yes a gt3 rs is ideal but 20kg, and some tweeks worth more than a gt3 i wonder, yep re-sale will always be there but put your average driver with too many evenings out and they loose the advantage pretty quickly.

good luck with your hunt.
