Just dropped off the CSL for a "once over" and enquired from the "ever helpful" dealership if they could adjust the rake of the drivers seat? The manual says the adjustment should only be done by an approved garage!! "Yes Sir....that will be £110 plus VAT" they said!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is it that difficult? Or am I just being bent over and shafted again?

It's not a difficult job, just a little fiddly. Best way to do it is to unbolt the seat from the floor mountings and then adjust the bolt fixings in the side of the seat. Take care not to damage the electrical connections under the seat.

Shafted. As ever.
Unclip the air bag sensor from under the seat.
Unbolt the seat runners from the floor.
Remove plastic side covers to reveal adjuster bolts.
Adjust seat.

Repeat the above in reverse order.
1/2 an hours work to do both seats.
