I want to go to Germany next month for the obvious reasons. The easiest way for me is the Ferry from Harwich to Cuxhaven. Has anybody tried this with a 355 before?

I am obviously concerned about the ground clearance and wide doors.

I've been twice to Cuxhaven in a 360.
Almost scraped boarding every time - it will be VERY close in a 355 I reckon.
However, the stewarts get on their knees and look after you, go sideways over and you should be able to make it.
I once had stewarts lifting my Caterham on board!

Have fun - the first 70 miles from Cuxhaven is a bore with nowhere to overtake hardly - BUT THEN - autobahn!!!! Unless you're travelling south to Bremen where you can go directly onto the autobahn.

Thanx for the advice. The ferry firm seem to think they can get us on OK, just asked us to check in early.

So far have reached 150 mph on the autobahn. Lets see if I can beat that this time

I scraped the bottom of my 348 on the ferry on the way back from Le Mans, attendents didnt try to see me on till they heard the crunch. On the way out was fine though as they took their time to help. Take it VERY slow and at an angle, also make shure they put you on the lower deck.
