Overheating/temp gauge rising?

Ok Guys I've this problem, after only 4/5 mins driving the temp rises into the red.

The top hose is Bloody hot,Radiator only warm,bottom hose cold, I think it's a faulty thermostat? any input greatfully received

O Stevie boy! That is just TOO easy.

The water pump plastic impellor has broken off the water pump shaft.

Get yorself an all metal one from a factors and job done.
