I spotted 3 very unusual tail lights in a yard just off the bottom of my road in Barnes, whilst driving to work today. Pulling in, I discovered a brand new black CC parked up for the night.

The car seems to be the exact one on their website: www.racecarnewmedia.co.uk/modenacars/stockdetail.asp?VehicleID=1 - I am guessing it is being used by somebody from Modena Cars, as I have seen a Murceilago here recently. I am curious if anyone here knows who is bringing these ridiculous machines home (anyone work/know someone who works for Modena?). It was parked in a Larcom Ltd bay.

Just an idle fantasy that I could introduce myself and blag a ride in one of these!!

As in Gumball Arthur?

I've done a google search for Larcoms and got nothing... what is it?

I thought that Arthur fellow had a grey Koenigsegg. Mind you, it did keep breaking on the Gumball. I wonder why he doesn't get a McLaren F1 until the reliability of the car is sorted. I am in no way slating the Koenigsegg, it is brilliant, but I wouldn't by one just yet, even if I had the money.

Anyone know if Arthur had significant family assets to use to set up Larcom? Or is he a completely self made man?

A business that grants a Koenigsegg company car by 25 is seriously impressive!

I heard on another forum that he was loaned the one for the Gumball as his wasn't ready in time... Can't verify this however.

He was lent the Modena demo car - which was shipped over to the states for him to participate.

I am waiting to test the CC8 demo - which has now had the full 806 hp enginer upgrade, I am advised.

Bring it on!

Flip. Get an orange one like in the recent publicity shots for the 800 BHP version.
Nicest doors in the business I'd say.

Are you testing the CC8 with an engine upgrade? Or the CCR which is the new uprated car?

The Orange press shots are of the CCR.

For those interested, the Directors of Larcom have been charged with a massive VAT fraud totalling 25mGBP.

It is part of a so-called crackdown by UK Customs and Excise. Let's hope Arthur gets a fair trial.

I, alas, am not..............

Good luck, mate.

For those interested, try entering "operation Devout" into Google.

That has gotta be one of the nicest cars on the planet and is the new "Poster Car" without doubt for any 16 year old boy such as myself. Anyway personally id either have it in Bright Orange like the recent phtos or lime green just so i stood out. Thanks Tjolly

"Operation Devout" seems to have taken place 18 months ago. I'm not sure how a company could still be trading 18 months on following a £25m VAT fraud charge?
