Afternoon,

I have a USB connection in my e91, my sticks are set up in a standard format, so

\artist1\album1
\album2

artist2\album1

etc, etc

Does anyone know if I can set it to random across the entire stick rather than just by album (which is all I seem to be able to get at present)

Yes. Instead of going to directory, scroll across to songs. Click on a song to play it, then click again and go to random.

Works on a USB stick, didn't work on the iPod I tried though.

I created a m3u file in the root directory with all songs listed, then I got the head unit to play this file on random and it works a treat.
