There must be more damage than just cosmetic damage otherwise they wouldnt have written it off.

No, it's less than a year old. So insured would get a brand new car from Insurance and car has to be written off.

Thats not badly damaged at all, I cant understand why its a Cat C ???

Because the cost of replacement vehicle is more than the value of the damaged car.

Should it not be a Cat D though. Cars are categorised by damage or have I got it wrong?
Anyway its overpriced. I wouldnt want to give £19k for it, I`d be tempted at 14 though.
No Sat Nav either.

The cost of repair normally but this vehicle had to be replaced by a brand new vehicle, hence cat c.
