just bought and fitted a maf to my 2001 320d touring, its a bosch part and in the box it came with there was a note saying that the control unit(i'm guessing ECU) would need to reset for the maf to operate properly, it drives a bit better than the last cheap ebay maf i put on it(which died on me after about 4 months) but not as good as it should(hesitates etc). Is there any way i can reset the control unit myself, like disconnecting the battery for several minutes etc, or do i need to take to garage and get it done on a diagnostic type thingy.
