Perfect for the job, only issue is that's a nikasil risk engine so you'd need to dig a bit deeper in to any cars history to see if it's had it's engine replaced by BMW at some point. Having said that, if it's still running OK now quite some years after the whole nikasil scare then it should be OK. If you can find/afford one though, go for a later 735 ('96 on) as these have alusil blocks and a touch more oomph Check out my profile for my 735i blog. On real cost is petrol
