BMW owners club
Discussion
BMW Car Club (UK) is pretty good.
Good magazine each month, good knowledge base on the forum if you need it and pretty decent range of discounts on parts from both BMW AD's and also Independents.
Have a look at www.bmwcarclubgb.co.uk

Just to give another perspective: I left the BMW car club because of the ridiculous politicking and the attitude of certain senior members of the club, who were doing a passable imitation of Robert Mugabe. I can't say I miss it at all. There are loads of internet fora that offer all the knowledge I need along with regular meets and socials.

http://bavarian-board.co.uk -- formerly the BMW Car Club's website which led to all the hoo-hah in the first place, because the BMWCC wanted the volunteers who ran the forum to shut it to non-BMWCC members.
But these are only my own experiences, I'd certainly not want to stop anyone signing up.

I joined last year on purchasing my BMW. I have been a meember of Jaguar owner clubs and found them to be more informative. I am not an active member of the club but found the cost of joining was covered by the discount on insurance thru being a club member. Will I renew next year? I am, not sure as I have not found the club to be engaging.
