E90 330d Particle Filter

I have got a service light come on for the particle filter. Anyone know the what this is and the cost to service etc>?. The car has done 33,000.

Seems a bit early for the diesel's particulate filter; is it the pollen filter? They're normally an easy DIY job.

Had another look and its a micro filter. Hopefully, this should be cheaper.

They quoted me £53 !!

I bought one for £20 and did it myself.Its about 3 screws ! About as difficult as fitting an kitchen extractor fan filter.

You can reset the service light yourself.
[something like pressing odometer reset button for a few seconds and pressing the menu button... Can't quite remember but I'm sure its on here somewhere]
