Went to Bruntingthorpe Tuesday for a magazine shoot. There was several very powerful and fast modified road vehicles there.

I was timed
0-60: 5.4
0-100: 12.5
1/4mile: 13.77@104.6mph
154mph
All GPS proven.

Couldnt get past 154mph because my car had not been de-limited although i was assured by the tuning company is was!!!

Indicated speed was well off the clock at 160mph!

Funny thing was, there was a 500bhp audi s4 who down the back straight accelerating from 80-140mph he could not pull one car length on me, his words after was (pointing at my car) ''that dont hang about mate''

Proving although the 0-60 etc is not brilliant, it can live with and embarrass much more powerful cars on the roll, midrange acceleration etc!!!

Standing start he was very fast in the Audi, 0-60: 4.4, 0-100: 9.7 etc!

I drove a 911 turbo also which was nice!!

Did 150mph and it was so fast getting there (Porkie's 911 turbo off here)

His missus Maria took me out in it to 188mph, the fastest ive ever been in a car, Pretty awesome!!

I have a couple of vids ill post up when Youtube stops going t1ts up!

I was happy with my results although my car has been quicker at Santa Pod (13.5@105mph vs 13.77@104.6mph

so she has gone quicker before, but i was loading the torque converter up a little too much and my tyres are past there prime.

I was annoyed by the top speed limiter and i was at full chat for ages with no more progress and feel i could have hit a GPS 165+

I was doing 135mph as the bike came past on my way to 150mph

off the clock at 160+!!

A while back I said cars get off the line a bit quicker at SP due to the well rubbered in track remember?

Impressive figures non the less. Out of interest what MPG does it do at 1.5 leptons? And what mag will it be appearing in then?

whether SP is faster or not, its the same for every car that runs there. a car may do a flat 12 at SP but will not at Brunters. etc etc. The MPG was rock bottom at full chat. Pretty disappointed about the limiter thing as i was off the clock before the halfway mark so think i could have done a GPS 165+ had it not stopped at 4100rpm in 6th!

Redline mag mate;)
