BMW M1 at the ring

BMW M1 procar has been at the ring all morning...

hasn't moved from this spot in the last hour, so looks like it is having problems. Lovely car though, does anyone know more about them? how many were there? I heard tell of them having 800 horsepower, imagine that!

Claims of 500bhp non-turbo, and 1000bhp with turbo. Makes the current range of BMW M series engines seem a bit pathetic ....

I saw the one at the BMW museum in Munich a few years ago, they look absolutely stunning

Best place to see an M1 is at the Oldtimers Weekend at the Nurburgring. FANTASTIC weekend, non stop racing for 3 days and the Nordschleife is open some of the time!!
