Spotted @ Japfest **warning pictures of Jap Car's too**

I thought I would share the pictures of Jap fest that was held at Castle Combe this weekend. It was a good show with loads of action on the track to watch.


I go all the way to Jap Fest at Castle Combe and the first car of note I see is a Monaro!

Some great pics there, looks like a good day out. I'm liking the thin 5 spoke alloy look on the Ro. They seem to have Holden centres. He/she must have stuck them on as they don't look like stock wheels.

Some of the motors look a little chavtastic.

The blue Ro with the Wolfrace wheels (19" was also at the Walkinshaw open day (which I think is where he got the HSV centres from). iirc it's an 04 CV8 with the focus pac from Monkfish. I also recognise the Evo (Y5 BOW) which is a local car... reputed to be running in excess of 600bhp. I shoulda gone, looks like it was a great day. Nvm, mebbe next year.

It's a new mod. Instead of cold air intake, they provide hot air outlet with dual airbags. Unfortunately, they can emmit an annoying whining noise if you drive too fast.

F me! Nearly had a heart attack! That blue ro is very similar to mine apart from the spoiler. Deffo have to get shot of those rims now!
My mate said there was a VXR ro there as well?

Doesn't that red 240Z look ace? Nostalgia is great, ie someone else gets all the hassle of owning a classic.

I did not see a VXR Ro there but my HSV GTS was there so your friend could have got confused as I have the same bonnet as a 2005 VXR Monaro.

Great pics Dunc ! had a mate attending with his club stand . the jap crew stand strong at stuff like this, power in numbers i guess, still nice to see "diveracity" ( if thats a word, in spain at mo, drunk on hotel inter room net ) on the forum, great shots nice action pics of the track work.

Sounds about right, he can spot an Evo at a 1000 yds though
