Suggest you watch the BTCC highlights from Brands Hatch yesterday whenever it is shown...next Saturday ITV perhaps?
Anyway the leading two Ivan Muller and Anthony Reid had a bit of a coming together which resulted in points leader Muller going into the gravel and then finishing down the pan
Fast forward to the pits....Reid out of his car in his pit garage..Muller grabs him by the throat and starts punching his helmet(!!!!)...then I believe Reid is thrown across the bonnet
Muller has now received an 11 day ban

Muller maid a very good point afterwards:

Mat neal crashes and leaves the car in a precarious position: no safety car.

A bit of bumper falls onto the track (not on the racing line)- safety car, on what was otherwise a boring race.

NO!, physical attacks should NEVER be allowed and the punishment should be more than 11 days, the guy will not miss a race, what type of punishment is that??

I speak from experience here, I have had to intervene in the middle of possible blow up once,(and been in a Stewards meeting because of it) and had to remind teams on another occasion that certain behaviour will not be tolerated.

I recognise that drivers are fired up after a race, but, is live TV the best place for this type of confrontation??
