As a newbie to the C5, can anyone recommend the best place to buy a rear Goodyear EMT tyre as mine came with a nail and is beyond repair.
Best quote so far is Kwik Fit at £200 but nil stock!!

Cliff

Do you mean Micheldever? I don't think Ted minds positive recommendations
I've used them before for mail order so I'll get a quote.
If you mean someone else please post for all to see

I used Micheldever for my Corvette tyres good prices and they know what they're doing. They can remove and fit them without damaging the rims - not all shops have the correct equipment. They were quite happy to do a customised wheel alignment setup too instead of the factory one if you are so inclined. The downside is that they only only have one place and it's in the middle of nowhere between Basingstoke and Winchester !

See if they can do you another make of tyre such as the Michelin Pilot Sport ZP if you want to stick with runflats. I have decided to go without the safety of runflats and have swapped to Falkens all round - much more comfortable ride and better grip both wet and dry.

You can try "Dave Sheldon Tyres" in Manchester if your not fixed up yet. I got mine from there.....good prices and they know what they are talking about. They do them all for Bauer Millett. Paul.

Got sorted with tyres, (EMT's - yes I know but I seem to attract punctures!) One front and one rear for less than £350 including balancing etc. He has another pair should I need to go back or for anyone else . Email me for contact info.

Dumb question time.

I'm bringing my Vette home in a couple of years.

It's a US spec with no spare. Is that the same for UK spec Vettes? Will I get through SVAS without a spare wheel?

My Z06 got thru the SVA without a spare wheel!

Mine has a tube of foam and an inflator. I think the "ordinary" C5 has a donut.

Yes, it is the same for Euro and UK cars which do not have a spare, so you shouldn't have a problem.
