Great event and thanks to the organisers for that, and for welcoming a none Chimaera owner too (the car park guy did think it was a Chimaera though), here are a few photo's I took on the Sunday.

What else did he tell you? That his golf handicap was 1 and he was hung like a rogue elephant?

These Chim owners. Worse than fishermen.wink

But how many actually turned up each day at Chimfest '08, eek Ooooops, sorry, Roar 08. (I can type it more easily than say it! biggrin )

Oh, and why out of all the cars pictured dos only ONE appear to have the roof off? Too cold? Wet (doesn't look it)?

I chose not to come this year but would still be interested to know how it was amnd how well attended.

Nick.

There were several with the roofs off (and i bet they wish they hadn't) as there was a SEVERE torrential downpour with zero visibility whilst out on the run.

thumbup Understood.

BBQ must've been interesting then! Pleased everyone seems to have made it round OK on the run-out and hopefully home OK too. Nick.

We were in the Wedge, arrived with the roof off and went on the run out with the roof off.

The downpour was sudden and bloody heavy too...kept going as long as we could, but had to pop the roof back on.

Back off for the ride home thoughwink

Ours was still on display until we hit a certain speed on the runout...It's still in one piece, but it slipped to the top and I was fighting the wind to take it down while Trickie was piloting biggrin

Over 120 cars at this year’s event!!

So many owners travelled considerable distances south and the north to take part in this year’s event. Carmen and I would like to thank them so much for all the support!!!

Over 50 people at the Mexican night and 94 people at the barn dance where we raised over £1200 pounds for children’s hospice.

A truly great event where we met Chimaera owners that got into the spirit of Roar.

A Great success

Not having a TVR and went along on the Sunday it was quite a sight to see as many TVRs there was all lined up. You mention the rain you want to have seen it whilst all of you went out for your run,i think there was every type of weather mentioned,I would upload some pictures but me not being computer literate dont know how to so cant do it.
