Will there be any 8 second Zs at TOTB3?

I hope there is at least a 10 second Z06 @ TOTB3, which can handle as well, in all weather conditions. That way, the Z can/will beat the majority of Skylines and Supras, and a few other cars < ND Evos that are in this bracket, and will get some fame (and beat one or two famous cars like the Rocket Ronnie R33 GT-R which wil prove Z06s and American cars like the Viper are superior). I really hope there could be an LPE 427TT 1100hp Z06 that runs 8s easily, to beat the 8 second GT-Rs. The reason I say this is because this is an event with cars from all different backgrounds, and it is boring simply seeing the same scenario played out twice:
-Skylines win
-If they don't, it is another Jap car
I do like Skylines, they are technoligical masterpieces, and deserve to win because of the owner's dedication etc, but like I said, there is an event with the intention of competition, but there is no competition. Even the twin engined Golfs and wacky cars like that are beating the Zs and Vipers.
I don't own a Z, or any car, but I love Vipers, Zs, Skyline GT-Rs, and Supras. But the Z is my fave car (Z meaning Z06).
So will there be any big power Z06s? I wanna see GT-Rs go down! And I wanna see what the Jap car mags write in their coverage of TOTB3. Z06s are so great for tuning, handling, straight line speed etc.

I'm 17 and I am taking my test (well will do soon). I'm doing A levels. Just some background information on me.

You may take solace in the fact that Nigel's Z06 was the 2nd fastest normally aspirated car, mine was the third, and Sara Bell's Viper was the fastest NA car.
Actually I doubt that any car will get into the 8s at TOTB as street legal tyres are required. Even with drag radials it'd be almost impossible to pull 8s, you really need slicks and a fully prepped drag strip for that sort of thing. At Elvington we were using an unprepared concrete taxiway, not even the main runway so no chance there.

Z's can/do run 8s on street tires (check my reply on the thread about the video).
These cars that you listed - what times do they do? It has put things into perspective for me when you mentioned this. I know that already one of the Viper's was the 4th fastest car @ TOTB2 in terms of top speed and 1/4 mile? And that is a very good result (getting in the top 5 is very good, as there are some very good/fast cars. I suppose if these owners do some more modding in the gap year from TOTB2 > TOTB3, they'll run 10s, and give the well known GT-Rs a run for their money).
I've seen a Gen 3 Viper, tuned by Hennesey (yeah I know he is a crook) run 10s on stock tires, with no forced induction mods - just mods like headers, cam etc.
I knew when posting this that the one thing, among other things for certain people/owners, is money, and so I was concious about posting this issue if you like. And I also now that if I owned a car like a Z06 and Viper, worked, had a mortgage and had a family (which I don't want) then I'd find it hard to source the cash to mod the/my car, and that would just be because the car costs a lot in maintenance as it is high performance (hypothetical situation).
Even if Zs and Vipers performed to the worst performance at TOTB3, and did worse than the slowest and worst handling cars there at the event, I'd still support these cars/owners....such is my loyalty (and I didn't go to TOTB2, distance etc being the reasons
- I have one or two genuine reasons why I didn't, or rather, couldn't, go).

I wish it was that easy to get a car that runs in the 12/11 sec 1/4 mile into the 10,s on a car like OUR viper (not just the misses....and may i also take this time to say that it was me that ran the 1/4 times,Sara did the TOP SPeed,i,m not that silly!!)we wouldneed about 2-300 extra bhp so around 800+ ,now this sounds like fun but it costs ££££.Willbe running next year for sure but looking at running a tweaked DIABLO instead.Would be nice to kick some more JAP butt but with a VIPER and NO traction control it is very hard to get the power down.
