Thanks guys, it does feel good.
I dug out my grandfathers old focal plane shutter cameras so that I could try and capture this very effect but I have no idea how the cameras work, or if infact they still do. Anyone ever tried this for themselves?

Is it me or is the whole shot angled, like the effect you'd get from the, er, other sort of shutter - focal plane?
I hope my 350D does not have a focal plane shutter! I do love that effect when cars were taken with focal plane shutters and ended up with oval wheels and all pointing forwards like how they show speed in cartoons. I believe it to be called the Lartigue effect.I dug out my grandfathers old focal plane shutter cameras so that I could try and capture this very effect but I have no idea how the cameras work, or if infact they still do.
