Great story but 0-100mph in 11.4s, that can’t be right surely?

Autocar got 9.4s for the standard 996 turbo, 8.4s for the X50 version and 8.3 for the GT2

Big writeup in the September Excellence. $425,000 (= 4 x new GT3s), choice of ten, no warranty. Pretty level against X50 996 in a straight line : standard (selecta-height) suspension NBG, Sport excellent. But a rave review anyway.... mind you, Motec, new exhausts and ball bearing turbos are included in the price - bargain, really!
