Remember the article we brought you about RaceCam recently? Well we've got some samples here of the system in action capturing a spectactular crash at Spa.

The picture was taken from Peter Shaw's Brabham BT35 at the top of Eau Rouge in Saturday's Historic F2 race. Using the Goldstar Racecam it shows Sandy Watson's Lotus 69 flying in the air over the top of the March 712 of Frenchman Sebastien Brisard

Amazingly no driver was injured!

There were three cars involved in that accident on saturday afternoon in the last race before the start of the 6 hour race. I was at Raidillon at that moment and hurried up to see how the remains were trailered away. Thankfully, none of the drivers got hurt. The cars looked like a mess, though.
