Hi all, my first post on this forum so please be gentle with me !!!!

I have recently sold my company car, a Merc CLS AMG and bought my first private daily drive, you guessed it a 2004 645 6 Series, these cars are brilliant and very very cheap at the moment.

My question is about the wheels, I looked a loads to cars with the 19" wheels as they fill the arches better and as a consequence discounted any cars with smaller wheels, well eventually I decieded I should buy the best car avalible and ingore the wheels, after a lot a searching I have now bought a car but I hate the wheels, they are the standard 18" wheels and spoil the great looks of the car.

I am now looking to buy aftermarket wheels and was hoping that some of you would give me some advise/ideas about what to buy or better still post some photos, I will be looking to buy 20" wheels.

The car is silver so I am considering black mesh style wheels.

I would love to see your cars.

Regards

I've got the BM 19" elipsoid wheels on mine. If you move to 20"'s will you move away from run-flats as well?

Hola,

I have the 18" and have often thought about getting the 19" - just never can get round to it. However, I always thought (had this conversation with Roger645 already wink ) that if I moved up that it would be a little more rattly tootling round London with the bad roads and all that. However, just for a giggle I tested a 535D with 19". Now it's meant to be a very similar car, it had Dynamic Drive etc like mine, and I felt no difference at all. So it's given me the view that changing up will not be hugely noticeable.

OK, got my wheels now fitted and I am delighted with the look, a slight departure from the original plan but I hope you agree they look dam fine and suit the overall look of the car.

What do you think ?
