Stereo Upgrade

Has anyone changed the original fit stereo for an after market one? Mine is the pre facelift model and still has a cassette player.

By referring to the other, of his only 2 posts, it is a V8 M5.

Yes it is do-able, but requires a facia adaptor (available from BMW dealers, amongst others) and possibly a wiring harness adaptor.
