Looking to do a tidy up on a cast iron cylinder head. What are the best bits of DIY equipment; assume flexy drive and some grindstones and where is the best place to buy them from?
Cheers

A die grinder is the most useful bit of kit IME, but you need a pretty decent sized compressor to drive an air powered one. The electric ones are ok (proper die grinders, not little toys like Dremels) but are a bit large and heavy.

For the actual metal removal, decent (i.e. not cheap!) carbide cutters are by far the best. e.g. http://www.carbidebur.com/longshank/longshank.htm
