Wet Look Wax advice
Discussion
I always wash my car using autoglym shampoo and then use autoglym polish to give it a nice shine.
At the moment I then use Poorboys Natty Wax over the top of this (Ummm nice coconut smell!) but would like a finishing wax that gave the paint a bit more of a "wet look" any recommendations?

I presume you're referring to AG SRP when you say polish?
Are you trying to remove swirls and light scratches? As a protective layer (sealant) it's crap, and needs EGP for something approaching semi-decent longevity.
If you're not aware of the abrasives, and possibly not knowingly causing more problems then, drop the SRP, and just use your wax, with Dodo Juice Lime Prime Lite.
Wash, (probably clay too, unless that's been done recently), dry, LPL, wax - that's it.
Applying LPL is pretty straight forward - wipe on with a foam applicator (carnaubawaxshop.co.uk) to half a panel, and wipe off with a light touch using a microfibre cloth. Apply your wax over the top when the panel or the whole car is done.

I would try using a glaze over the autoglym SRP then your wax over the top of that. Chemical Guys EZ creme glaze is very good and should give it more of a wet look.
When you refer to Dodo juice lime wax, do you mean Lime Prime? If so you don't want ot put it over the top as it will strip your wax and remove fillers from the SRP. You could use Lime Prime instead of SRP and simply top with a wax for a very tasty wet look also.

Paulo hit upon it
If you are using a make of polish, Autoglym for instance, you are doing the correct thing with washing with the shampoo as this will not remove the autoglym polish, if you are using other makes ontop of this I believe you are just creating work for yourself.
Some makes of top coat will go over anything but I would stick to one make personaly.
Have you tried Autoglym ULTRA DEEP shine as this is oil based and has better pooling than the resin polish or even the new Autoglym HIGH DEFINITION WAX
