e46 330d 53 plate

My 330d came with integrated bluetooth. Now my dads nokia is picks it up and works fine.

Yet my iphone 3g isn't willing to pick it up

As in , I will turn the bluetooth on and it just keeps searching and searching, for like 15 minutes. It never finishes searching, now I know that the bluetooth in my iPhone works as it happily connects to the nokia bluetooth in my Mazda6.

So I honestly don't have a clue what is going on.

(running latest firmware in iP3g)

It seems that the iPhone won't work with the older bluetooth kits, but you can upgrade it to work by retro-fitting the new bluetooth interface.

As for the OP, you need a new Bluetooth UIM in order to use the iphone 3g with it.

IPhone doesn't work with the older bluetooth ulf. Might be worth looking on E46 Fanatics if anyone has found a solution.
