As per title, can anyone offer any advice about looking after the soft-top roof on a '53 plate boxster I've bought please? Does it need "proofing" occasionally or can I ignore it? Any help/knowledge or product advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Richard

I just use the Autoglm cleaner and proofer kit ~£20 every 3 years(although you won't use much of the cleaner - shame they're sold as one pack)

Renovo make a wonderful cleaner and a protector too. Don't pressure wash the hood, use a decent brush to keep it clean and if possible dry it after washing.

Won't do any harm keeping the waterproofing of the roof up to scratch - in line with the others above, I favour 303 Aerospace Fabric Guard, and Cleaner.
Get their protectant for the door seals, wiper blades, and interior plastics (blacks especially) and you'll be going great guns.
