Refund on Le Mans fine

Like many other innocent(?) brits we were stopped outside Bernay on the 13th June and kindly driven to the local hole in the wall to contribute 750 euros to the French economy. We commented on the form that we did not agree with the speed and did not like the way the situation was dealt with. 4 months later the result is a 300 euro refund! Still have not got license back since french consulate in london insist on a personal visit to collect! Any one else had refunds/additional fines/licence returned

A friend of our had exactly the same thing happen and he too got 300 euros back. Fortunatly I was heading for Caen and so did not use that route
