Looked at alloy luggage in local dealer parts depot yesterday and got talking to partsman. He declared that there had been a lot of complaints about the alloy cases because people had taken them on aircraft and had wheels broken and cases dented!!!!! I was just wondering what kind of wit would pay £320 for a suitcase then give it to a baggage handler? dhuur!!!

Probably the same kind of wit that buys expensive luggage plastered with Logos and then wonders why their case was the one that got nicked/broken into.

It's always the luggage plastered in "Lunchon Voucher" logos that spins the Moscow carousel open and it's entrails all over the place.......

Yep. £800 spons for what? I bought three squashy bags that go in my Porsche perfectly...£150. That leaves me £650 to spend on track-days. Easy decision.
