Lovely looking car there. One of the last proper hatch designs before they all started mimicking MPVs

However, get those Pirelli ditchfinders off poste haste

clap

The last proper hot hatch IMO i.e. the sort that would and could quite easily kill you.

I bought mine with 34k on the clock a couple of years back, it was a cracker and huge fun.

Have fun!

I drive a 2001 Xsara VTS, same engine and chassis.

Cracking car to drive for the money, plenty fast enough and the engine sounds fantastic with an uprated Induction-cone style air filter.

Watch out for lift off over steer though, had a few hairy moments!

Get the cam belt changed!

Some people will not go near it or even think about it until 50k, but time is a killer too.

36k or 3 years on these is recommended on 306 Forums IIRC

Every 30k is what I would say.

You heard of them popping between 30 and 36? Ouch. I knew they were bad for that, but not that bad!

Yup, 30k is probably the limit for me.

Lovely car Rocky.
I had two and loved them both. Got the second after the first one threw its cambelt at about 40k miles!
