Just got my car back from its first service. And, of f***ing course, the roof now rattles. I'm going to take a look tonight and see if there's anything obvious...

But otherwise I'm going back to have it bl**dy well sorted out.

A**e! Grrr. Gnash. Grr. A**e.

Stick your hand up the side of the lining above the window. In front of the middle roof hinge. If there's a loose small strut, with a ball type fixing on the front end, it should be plugged into a socket up on the right hand side of the roof. That happened to ours, plugged it back in and all is well. Takes a bit of effort to do though.

Thanks for the hint. Wasn't that. I'm going our in the car again later tonight and I'll have a damn good listen to see if I can tell where its coming from.

It has always rattled a bit. All one needs to do is lubricate where the windows meet the roof and the problem goes away. Well I don't think its that problem this time. So if tomorrow I'm not satisfied I'm going to call AFN and ask them to take a look.

Oh. Gratis I might add.
