Hi guys, making my mind up now, wanted a Chim but no service within 500km so it's going to have to be a Porsche, and I'm tending to go for the Targa. Anyone use one of these regularly on business, trnasporting normal business things..... I feel, and WalterU has recommended it, that it'd be a good thing. I do roughly 30000km/pa nowadays and the Jag has lost it's grin factor..... any input gratefully received

yep, do about 12000 a year. Good. Had a rattle from the roof about 6 months ago but that was fixed. Rattle has come back so next time im going past Im sure it will be tightened again.

I enjoy the airyness of the car with the glass roof. The hatchback I though at the stat was a waste of effort but upon recent holidays with the wife and the dog (please no bad jokes) the hatch was very usefull. We were impressed by how much you can get into it.

The summer was good with the roof slid back, so yes I would say if you like the targa then go fo it. You cant see a lot in the mirror when the roof is back but side mirrors are good and you can still see but its just darker cos of the shading in the roof.

Its also nice as i see a few 996 around but no other targas.

I also wondered a bit about the mirror when the roof was down, but as it was a darkish day when I took it out for a spin it seemed VERY poor...... I like especially the hatchback idea.. credit to WalterU for showing me the car inthe first place.
