IMC - Reading for M cars?

Hey guys! Has anyone dealt with / had experience of purchasing a M car from IMC (Reading) - seen a few of their car adverts but have not heard much about them! Any help would be appreciated!

I sold my m3 to them last year. Nice enough & straight forward to deal with. Selling is easier than buying though From what I've heard elsewhere I'd defo take a good look at a car if I was considering, but I would deal with them again from my own experience.

If they are local, go have a look imo.

I dealt with them 8 years ago, no problems, flexible as far as collecting the car went and viewing it, all done at unsociable hours, one problem with the car after collection which was sorted out no quibble, although did require another trip down.

I enquired about an M5 from there, numerous calls and emails to arrange a viewing went unanswered

Sorry to hear of the horror stories. I had a good experience with them in buying an '02 E46 cab in carbon blackabout 3 years ago. Pleasure to deal with and fair p/x on my wife's 500SL. They then underwrote the car back from the porsche indy when I bought my 996 targa. Don't know where you are but got my current E46cab from GC motors in Harrogate - again, pleasure to deal with and nice car. They had somebody for my DB7 Vantage so got a fair price. Good luck.

From what I can gather they are great while everthing is going their way, it is when anything major happens that you seem to get the grief.

I booked to see a car and decided to give them a call before setting off from Norwich to make sure it was clean, and ready for a test drive.
Turned out the car was already sold but lots of other similar spec cars there to look at.
I decided at that point to give them a miss.
