After getting excited at shiny blue turbo's I'm back to my origional plan

If I come across 964 carrera 2/4 what sort of questions should I ask the owner? Anything specific that I should check?

would I be right in budgeting £200 for 6k and £500 for 12k services +consumables Is this the average?

Cheers

Have a look at the FAQ's and buyers section on www.titanic.co.uk. Also John Mile's site at www.porsche964.co.uk and www.rennlist.com.

Good hunting!!

The most important question to ask vendor?

'Will you drive it to XYZ Porsche specialist who is going to carry out a Pre-Purchase Inspection for me?'

I would also consider a leak down/compression test.

Good luck!

Ps I'd save up or buy a more reliable and slightly better LHD 993 instead!

You might also want to check out www.performance2and4.co.uk/964_evolution_n.htm.

PS with regard to service costs, yes you are in the ball park.

Also I would suggest you also get one with as much done as possible i.e. Cup Mirrors, 17" Alloys, Lowered, 3rd Light, Cat By-Pass, G-Pipe, induction kit, vent kit - might sound a bit boy racer, but believe me you will want them and they are not cheap.
