Well, I think it's safe to say that it was a great success. I'm a bit knackered now (hence the lack of news today) but it all went without an major hitches.

Great to meet everyone again and the new faces and faces to names etc. Sorry I didn't get a chance to natter to more of you.

I'm stunned by everyone's generosity with regard to the raffle. I hoped to hit £2K (£980 last year) and thanks to help from TDF and Big_M who bullied everyone into parting with their money we have raised at least £2800 for Cancer Research UK.

I've already made some notes ready for next year and planning will start in January.

Cheers Ted! Top weekend in all respects and I for one would like to say a big thank-you to you and everyone else that helped out.

One thing though - where were the pies?

Well done Ted and well done to everyone for rummaging in their pockets to pull out a large one the raffle

I never thought that BMW bike would be auctioned for so much
(Was that you mechsympathy? I remember talking to the winner but forget who now).

Edited: Well done to all the others that made it possible too.
Seems like nothing went wrong. Defo my best weekend of the year.

Yup top day and night - spent far too much money on beer but it was well worth it.

A fantatsic event, and if you haven't been to a Pistonheads do yet - go! It was my first event and fairly daunting at first, but everyone is so friendly, you soon just get chatting to everyone and anyone.

Roll on 04 for the next events!

Too true. I envisaged hiding away behind a PC for a few years. It hasn't quite worked out

800,000 hits a month, well done Ted!

(700,000 all come from a house with a Ka, T350C and half a Landrover in the drive way!)

Excellent do Ted.

Think I will have to put Pistonfest on my calendar for next year as 12 months is too long to wait.

Doing the raffle was great - got to meet everyone. Wish getting money out of Mr Big was so easy Thats Quantity Surveyors for you.

Ted,
Make a note to remind me that i'm 46 not 26, i'm absolutely shattered. Well done to all that donated so generously, if i offended anyone tough.

And of course well done to Ted and fellow PH'ers for another excellent event.

Must add my congratulations Ted as I probably came across as a bit of a miserable B***rd!

Myself and Mrs A enjoyed the evening but I havn't really got the hang of this partying thing and so did not speak to as many people as I intended.

Totally my fault and I promise to try harder next time

I was in the bar for about midday sat and only breifly left to get changed.
Finally left the bar after 4am.

Felt like 5 minutes. If only works was like that!
