Rear Light Cluster

Anyone know the Ford part number for one of these? Trying to get one from my local Ford dealer but apparently it depends on the year/body style of Mk 4 Escort so the part number would be easier.

Or is there anywhere else that I can get one online?

So long as it isnt the cabriolet model any mk4 will fit

what you after near side or offside,as i have a spare near side one and gasket,if its any help


edited to say they are NOT fitted upside down,if you dont believe me read the writing on the lens you will find its right way up

Yep, checked today and realised that it's not upside down. It's the offside that I need. Ford parts bloke reckoned there are different types.

There are versions with/without all the lights wired!
Luckily I only needed the lens part.

I've got a Lucas part number from Fernhurst. It is possible to just get the outer lens then rather than the whole unit?

Ted just go to a scrappy and you should get one for about £5

In most cases, if you buy the rear lamp unit it will be the lenses and reflector unit, but not the lamp holder, so you should just be able to just bolt in the new unit and then clip the existing bulb holder back into it. I don't think you'll find the lenses themselves as a separate component as they're glued to the backing/reflector part.
