I found tim Roth's (an actor i've always found watchable) character incredibly annoying know it all, like watching a film with a superhero who can't be killed, there is no peril, Roth is never wrong and can always tell when someone is lying, so one does not invest anything in the character, and care about him. It would be better if he were a fraud or met people he couldn't read every now and again.

I like it but I'm not expecting it to be amazing, just mildly entertaining. I think they could do more with Roth's character struggling to balance living life with knowing when people are lying (workmates, daughter, etc).

Just like most US crime dramas, it's all nicely packaged into 45 minutes and much of our interest is in working out whodunnit as early as possible.

particulary liked the episode with the Korean Amabassador, when they could tell that a person wanted to kill / or was prepared to kill just by the fact that his eyebrows close up...

Wathcing the after race interviews on Sunday after the race... Vettell appeared to be in that state of mind....

The first episode was amazing and very watchable.

The rest so far have not lived up to what the first episode was like.

I still enjoy it so will keep watching for now, but it seems that the 1st eposide was good because it was something new and different, and they just can keep it new and different on each of the other episodes after.

Just a cheeky bump to say it's on at the moment and still great.

Loved how he dealt with the tipsters!

Almighty thread bump. I can't decide whether I like this or not. It's eminently watcheable, but not really challenging in any way. As has been mentioned, Roth's character is totally infallable, and it lends an inevitability to the storylines.
