I,ve not long been an owner of a 911 3.2 Targa (3 months)and wondered if anyone could give advice regarding repair of non-operating up/down movement of drivers seat? Is there one motor that drives all adjustments or are there seperate motors? How are they accessed ie could be loose connection!

Thanks in advance.

PS. The 911 has lived up to my boyhood expectations and to be honest has even surpassed them!

2 motors I think, one for the front and one for the back. You might just have a dodgy switch.

ibico, have i been reading your post on rennlist about this ? the legroom is a bit restrictive even in the front of these, and the removal of wooden footrest changes things little, i'd be interested to improve mine a little bit bit more as well

Almost always the switches. They rarely get used and the little ball bearing that makes electrical contact inside gets shitty, (that`s a tecnical term). Sometimes the switches work if you tap them sharply. Sometimes they don`t and tapping them sharply breaks off the round button !!

How easy is it to replace the switch?/What is the procedure?
