First time into this Forum...

Bit of a longshot (coming from a QS) but...

As title, has anyone (themselves personally, friends/family) ever converted a Church/Chapel/Parish Hall or similair into a house?

Just looking for any costings/experiences/hassles/advice really...

PM if you prefer.

Thanks

Liam

Hi Liam,
I am currently nearing the end of my chapel conversion - It is almost ready for plastering...I bought it 18months ago, as my first house, I am a bit of a project lover - have moved on from cars to this...

If you want, drop me your email, and I will hopefully help you out with anything I have learned during the past 18 months.

Just converted an 1850's Chapel into contemporary offices, not dissimilar to a conversion to a house, just with no bedrooms!

Take a look in the case studies page here www.kubeofficeinteriors.co.uk under J Talk and click the pics on the right to expand.

Email me if you want any quesions answering on costs etc.

Just had a look at the above said website...looks very good!...I am guessing a large chunk of the costs were take up by the mezzanine floor?

I've pm'd you anyway

Cheers
