Painting my wing mirrors
Discussion
They are manual adjust, so presumably easy to remove, and I plan to send them to be re-painted 'Speed Yellow'. Questions:
1) How do I remove them?
2) Are there colour match issues with 'Speed Yellow' which means I must drop car off not just send mirrors?
3) Can anyone recommend a top notch but not stupidly expensive paint shop? If answer to 2) is no it can be nationwide. If yes, around London, preferably central!
Thanks in advance!

Piers...
I have had a few bits on my Speed Yellow 993 painted off the car. I found that if you cut back and polish any adjacent paintwork, colour matching seems to be fantastic. Dont polish the new paint work for about two weks though, or you will end up with a very yellow cloth!
As for the paint shop, I allways use my OPC, they do have a minimum charge, which just happens to be one door mirror casing! At least if there is anything wrong with the job, it has a 10 year guarantee and you just keep taking it back until they get it right!

Call me particular...But I have had to take back the last two jobs done by my OPC. Runs in the paintwork on my RS rear spoiler and paint too thin (see through it) on the edges of air ducts.
They rectified both without any problem. However, it does say something about the quality control don`t you think?
