20 pence peices with not dates on them?
I have been informed today that i have approx 10 of these at home & this is not a wind up at all.
I hear people are buying these for up to £200 each. Anyone else got any? Until i go home & see them for myself, i won't believe it. We have apparently come across them because we own a small partime catering business & occasionally we have alot of loose change but have not counted it up until today & this is when they were spotted. If we do have any, what should i do?

They are supposedly worth £50 today. In ten years time this might increase to £200.

I'd give you £20 for one today wink

There is a company in london who are paying £50 each for them at the moment. Though the news (So I doubt it very much!) is saying that in about 10 years time they will be worth about £600 each.

Some people were getting excited as they found the ones with no dates on the back, the ones in question have no dates on the head or tails area.

Just because it's sold on ebay doesn't mean money changed hands..

I've been saving any loose change apart from £1 and £2 coins for the last year.

Ploughed through them yesterday and imagine my surprise when out of 240 20p coins, not a feckin one of them had no date on it.

I feel cheated, was hoping for at least five of the buggers.

That's an hour of my life, that is.

At 10% commission on completed sales, eBay must be delighted.

Exactly right, that's why I put the ':ahem:' before eBay in my post!

How bizarre. There's 200,000 of these undated coins out there. I could (slightly) understand the craze by coin-poindexters if there were 200 of them, but 200,000 c'mon...

If anyone would like to give me one for my collection I would gladly pay a small fee.

I think those who think they are worth mega bucks a little bit naive and listening to the media.

Although if they are getting £100+ good on you.

I can't see them being worth a great deal next year, maybe in 50 years.

Not that one
