....... to Swine Flu?

Yesterday I found out that a little girl in my daughters class has Swine Flu, now at work we have been informed that our accountant is also ill with it. She has had the symptoms since Monday but only went to the doctors today and has been told to stay indoors for a week.

So over to you, do you know of anyoneone who has been told the have the ilness if so how ill are they?

About a week and a half I think. Said it wasnt any worse than a normal flu. Worst part was being quarantined at home.

So have you been told to stay in? If so what about the people that you live with are they at risk?

I had a close one yesterday.

Working at a hospital. Person I turned up to visit was off. No one else is in the office. Utterly fked off I spend hours working with her paperwork. Finally possibly the most stressed nurse in the world turns up. "I take it she's off sick? Any idea what's wrong with her so I can sort out all this stuff?"

"Oh they've all got suspected swine flu".

"Oh fking brilliant and I've had my lunch on the hard surfaces. Thanks".

Alcohol gel get's used for the 4th time on the way out. bds.

Someone on my floor at work had it. Work are so PC they couldnt name who had it.
Now they have these patronising signs showing us to wash our hands in the restrooms......

Like being back at school.

Haven't been told to stay in, but I'm sure as hell not going anywhere! I'm trying to keep away from the rest of the folk in the house, minimize the chances of passing anything about. Even if it's not Swine Flu (and I'm pretty sure it isn't), I wouldn't want anyone else to be suffering this, it's not fun.... At least the Ashes is on to help stop me going too stir-crazy!

My bosses boy had it a few weeks back, work from his home boss was on pills, so was his wife and the boy.
I was protected by a "magical" wooden door that would keep all the nasties out so I worked as normal no pills. Boy was fine in 5 days no one else even felt sick.

OH THE HORROR!!

Three chaps on my team had it, loads on an old team and I've had flu like symptoms as have others.

Its still killed and infected less people than regular flu.

Sounds like this swine flu is a great way to get some time off work and get the kitchen finished. Here's hoping!

Er, various people in my school have had it. My mum works with people who had it. A girl at my work was sent home as her mum had it.
