18% alcohol content and lots of other stuff:

but £9.99 a bottle? Cant see many binge drinking on that when theres numerous gut-rots they could buy elsewhere. Good free advertising, though- wonder if they have the same marketing team as the Grand Theft Auto guys? Shame it's such a crap name, though

Its less irresponsible than Asda selling 500ml bottles of beer - each containing around 2.5 units of alcohol - for £1.

Some people are utterly incapable of minding their own fking buisness.

You can get a cheap bottle of Vodka for less than £10 so their arguement doesn't really stack up. In fact, I might buy a bottle or two just to spite them.

Am I being thick or am I completely missing the point. What is wrong with that?

Yes, yes, all of the above etc, but...

The brewing company's latest product uses jasmine, cranberries, malts and American hops, and is then fermented with a champagne yeast to make the high alcohol content.
One of the nicest beers I ever tasted was something called "Zeiss" I think. Also brewed using Champagne yeast, but coming in at a lowly 8.8% So I can imagine this beer tasting ok.

Anyone know of any other beers brewed with champagne yeast ? Ta.
