importing wine to UK from Italy

I would like to know if anyone can tell me if the big supermarket chains like Tesco, Waitrose, Sainsbury's, Safeway and Marks & Spencer's buy their wine directly from the wine producer's and my second question being; do they sort their own pick-up for the consignment or do the wine producer's sort this ?

I have a wine from a wine producer that I am to be selling to the UK but the wine producer has said that the client will need to pick the consignment up as they do not do this.

Any help would be much appreciated.
