question about paid holidays
Discussion
Are you full time or part time? Part time holidays can be a pain to work out, especially depending on what working hours/arragnements you do. Problem is there are several ways of calculating part-time entitlements, so different calculations can lead to differences of 1 or 2 days in the answer.

should say in your contract what holidays you get, if they change the contract terms you have to agree to it.
This is it.I used to give additional days over Christmas and, depending on when Christmas actually fell, people would get much more holiday than other years.
However your contract is the place to look.

Minimum entitlement to those in full time employment is 28 days less bank holidays,so if you have a really tight employer 20 days, looks like yours have tightened their holidays but are still within the law.
And the entitlement to bank holidays off has only been included in your total minimum allowance since this year - before that, bank holidays were an optional extra and couldn't be counted as part of your total allowance by the employer.Edited for wierd phrasing
