Well having sat through nearly an hour of this before even my wife couldn`t stand any more, I was forced to ask myself - how does he sustain an acting `career`?
There seems to be just minor variants on the expression - eyebrows up or down, with slight variation in the angle.
Mostly it`s the `Awww has the last cream bun just gone`?
The labrador was at least as good, with possibly a bigger range of expression.
Am I alone?

One of the funniest endings in cinema history in my slightly warped opinion.

Almost worth sitting through the drudgery to get to it.

But not quite.

+1, I was pissing myself at the end....

IIRC, he is related to Francis Ford Coppola. Still don't know how he gets parts though.

Only film that he's done that I thought was excellent was 'Leaving Las Vegas'.

The rest of his stuff is usualy tosh.

Wasn't City of Angels the one where he wanders around looking completely wey and gormless? if so, that lasted about 20mins before it was switched off and I watched a Keanu Reeves film for some better acting.

Edit - and Wicker Man... How dare he!

I actually thought Con Air was a spoof at one point because his acting was so bad.

He was good in the baddie parts of 'Face Off' though - the small bit at the start when he didn't have to say much hehe

In Hollywood they give a lot of their actors stupid names like Robert Duval as Spurgeon Tanner, ("Spurgeon!" what the hell name is that anyway?) in Deep Impact.

The writers seem to have the most fun with Cage, giving him more silly names than any other.

Stanley Goodspeed
Cameron Poe
Castor Troy
Memphis Raines
Acid Yellow
Balthazar Blake

Thanks so much for the contributions!
I`ll have to tape it when I get a chance just to see this ending - don`t give it away!

He can also vaguely remember his lines and doesn't bump into the furniture...much.

Just don't look into a mirror and say his name 3 times.

You've been warned.
