need something for a christening?
Discussion
My daughter was christened a couple of weeks ago and her godparents bought her a bottle of rather good Krug champagne to put away for when she turns 18.
No idea how well it keeps - but hopefully someone will tell me that it doesn't, so I'll be required to open it now and drink it before it goes off

Having toured a couple of champagne houses I can tell you that champagne is already matured/vintage when sold, so is designed to be drunk straightaway - keeping it doesn't help. At least, that's what the guide said.No idea how well it keeps - but hopefully someone will tell me that it doesn't, so I'll be required to open it now and drink it before it goes off
Hence the second part of your statement is true; suggest you replace it with a Bacardi Breezer and hope nobody notices
