I don't have a garage so my S3 has to sit on my driveway and doesn't get used that much at this time of year. My problem is that it suffers from terrible condensation. Whenever it's cold outside, I get condensation dripping off the front and rear screen as well as the side windows. This then seeps into the carpets and is starting to form mould and is smelling.

Does anyone else have this problem and can anyone suggest a solution please.

Once the carpet or upholstery gets wet, the air inside the car gets humid and condenses on the windows... then runs down and wets the upholstery, then... well you get the picture.

Either you have put the roof up after a drive in the rain, or you have a leak somewhere. could be door seals, roof seals, windscreen, anywhere!

You need to try and dry it out, not easy at this time of year. Can you park it in a garage temporarily with the roof off and doors open? Even outside if it's reasonably dry and not frosty.

Once you get it dry, you need to inspect it immediately after it's been outside in the rain, to find the damp bits, that might point you to the leak.

Many thanks for the advice - have been trying to air it out but as you say, its a bit tricky at this time of year. Will try to borrow a garage over Xmas.

The floor mats are usually easy to remove, I tend to take mine out and hang them to dry when I am not using the car (and mine lives in a garage ).

Get some moisture-remover crystals (Helfords sell them) and some Rain-X anti-fog. Both seem to work well for me.

Is the car covered , I have my S2 outside and use a cover I got from Demon Tweeks , when I have uncovered the car recently, ie damp conditions there has been no condensation inside the car, just on the outside of the windows. The cover is a breathable one with a tripple layer the inner side being soft and non damageing to the car.
