As title really, I'm looking for a new case/bag for a smallish laptop
Most of the things I've found seem to be these laptop 'sleeves' which wouldn't be great for travelling in!
Anyone bought a decent one recently, or can recommend a good make?

Sorry for the rather boring topic!

My favourite is Muji's multi-way laptop bag.

It's cheap, it works as both a rucksack style or a briefcase style, it's tough nylon, it doesn't look expensive (and therefore doesn't attract attention), it's not a 'LOOK AT ME I'VE GOT AN EXPENSIVE LAPTOP INSIDE' type bag.

It was perfect for my 12" powerbook, and since then I've used one (I've got through three of them so far) with plastic Macbooks, two Macbook Airs, and my current 13" Macbook Pro. All expensive kit, but I don't worry about anyone thinking that my unassuming grey nylon bag contains a few grand's worth of Apple gear.

The bag comes with a padded sleeve inside (airbag type thing), but someone bought me a nice leather / memory-foam padded laptop sleeve (which is really nice) so I put that inside the bag instead. There are loads of pockets for any required accessories.

It's really good, I recommend it. I didn't immediately find a link to the thing, so here's a link to a review, which has the same opinion as me smile

They're only £25 and they rock.
